If you are someone who has a natural menstrual cycle and are tracking, we can deload the week before your period is due or on the days you feel you need it. The reason we deload the week before we're due on is because this is when we are in the luteal phase, otherwise known as our high hormone phase (Estrogen and Progesterone are at the lowest levels). This means we will perform best with lower intensity exercise, cue the deload.
You can speak to your personal trainer about your cycle and your sessions can be adapted to ensure you are deloading, and listening to what your body needs.
