Prior to your first session, a telephone consultation will take place with your personal trainer. This is an opportunity to discuss your goals, injuries, what you are looking for from a trainer and to discuss your previous and current fitness history. These conversations usually last between 10-20 minutes.
During your first session, you will be asked to carry out a range of movements. This is a movement screening to allow your personal trainer to analyse the way you move, identify where you are at and how best to plan for your sessions. You will then carry out a planned session focusing on upper and lower body movements.
Each session is structured and delivered with your goals in mind, and to ensure progression is made each week. Every session will include mobility work (to prepare you for the session ahead), strength exercises and cardiovascular endurance.
LC Fitness believes that it takes a woman to really understand and relate to a woman's body. With this in mind we take into account your menstrual cycle when planning sessions. You will find further information about this in the 'Deload' section of the menu and you can speak to your trainer for further guidance.
